My husband and I, as well as dozens of our family and friends, have gone to Bravo Restaurant seven of the ten years its been in business. A few weeks ago, we ordered carryout. When it came to my dessert, Bravo Pudding, there was coarsly chopped garlic throughout it. After running to the sink to spit it out and nearly getting sick, I called the restaurant. I talked to Donna (who I think is the wife of the owner). She was appalled at this, kept me on hold for several minutes, came back on the line to get my name and number and insisted on giving me a free carryout next time I called. I told her I just wanted my credit card reimbursed for the amount of the pudding, but she absolutely insisted on giving me a whole free carryout next time. She told me where the note with my name and number would be (next to the computer at the bar). When I went in tonight to place that order, there was no record of this at all. Donna had even told me to

talk to Linda if there is a problem finding it. Linda got me the owner, Jim, who said that no employee of

his would ever tell me this. We're talking a $17 meal here (just a couple of sandwhiches and dessert), not big money. He allowed me to leave, while telling him that because they won't stand behind their word, I won't be back after going there nearly once a week for seven years. My husband then went in and told Jim that he heard me say on the phone several times that they don't need to give me a whole meal, just credit me for the pudding. My husband also told him how often we go there, that people often give me gift certificates to Bravo and that he can't believe that Jim wouldn't take the word of a loyal customer over a lousy $17 comp. Not only did I not get the comp meal, but I never even got credited for the original pudding. Jim just said

he would give us our meal for 50% off tonight and credit us for the pudding then, but we weren't willing

to eat at the restaurant anymore simply on principle. I did call all my family and friends and asked them not to frequent the restaurant anymore and they

agreed. It's sad that for $17, Bravo lost dozens of loyal customers and hundreds of dollars (our normal

meal usually runs $40-50) simply because this is one consumer who is tired of businesses not standing behind their product/service. Just another note, their fountain pop is never carbonated correctly even though they say their

getting it fixed continuously. And, I have often had to ask for clean silverware or a clean plate and have even sent back a salad for having hair in it. Theresa Jason & Theresa
