We were told the boat we were going to purchase needed a new engine. We were told that the work would take about 2 weeks, as the mechanic was going on vacation, but it would take no longer than four weeks.

About 5 weeks ago, we were going to purchase a boat from Inland Auto, Boat and RV in San Bernardino. We were told the boat we were going to purchase needed a new engine. We were told that the work would take about 2 weeks, as the mechanic was going on vacation, but it would take no longer than four weeks.

We were told that the company has an impeccable reputation and they would make sure that our experience was both easy and satisfying. So we procured financing and waited. Well it's now 1 month and 5 days later and we have been told that again, the mechanic is on vacation and they haven't received the parts.

As a result, they won't even begin the work until the mechanic gets back. This is absolutely ridiculous! This engine is a 305 Chevy it should be pretty easy to find. Now, we have to take our check back to the credit union, find a new boat and start the finance process all over.

By the time we get our boat it will be the dead of winter and we won't be able to even use it. This company has done nothing but frustrate and disappoint my family.
