Gateway Select 1400 - ok this is to all those who purchased a Gateway computer that has Windows ME installed,,I have a Gateway Select 1400 that was purchased in September of 2001 that had Windows Me and had nothing but problems from day one and nothing Gateway did fixed my problem

ok this is to all those who purchased a Gateway computer that has Windows ME installed,,I have a Gateway Select 1400 that was purchased in September of 2001 that had Windows Me and had nothing but problems from day one and nothing Gateway did fixed my problem,,I finally got fed up with them since they told me that my warranty that never existed had expired,,,

why should I not be surprised,,,Gateway is the worst company to purchase a computer from,,,I finally took mine in to a computer shop located near me and they had to take Windows Me completely off my computer and I had them install Windows XP Home which has my computer finally running like a computer should,,that along with a different type of Virus protection,,my Norton 2003 Complete work allowed 2 viruses in my computer and Norton told me they don't make that system anymore but they would give me a discount on an upgrade of a better model virus protection,,,yeah right,,,

I have e trust ez armour plus a spyware program to catch spyware before it gets on computer,,,my computer finally works the way it should,,,unlike what Gateway told me,,which was nothing but a bunch of B/S from the start,,,needless to say,,,Gateway will never get my business again.
