PO Box 981302 El Paso, TX 79998-1302 Dear Symantec -- Regarding my September 21 Rebate Submittal during your "Norton Internet Security 2005 Upgrade Rebate" campaign. It is November 9, 2004, and I have not yet received a rebate. I will wait until November 21 (your recommended 8 weeks for delivery), at which time, if I have not yet received the $30 rebate, I will submit a complain about you to the Federal Trade Commission at

https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01. On your Rebate Status site, I still get "No search results" when I enter my personal info (name, e-mail address, phone number). I am definitely entering the right info, since I KEPT A COPY OF EVERYTHING I SUBMITTED TO YOU. SUGGESTIONS about your lack of support in your Rebate program: 1. When we send customer service an e-mail, using Symantec's provided e-mail address

() do NOT reply by saying "Due to a high volume of non-business related and unsolicited messages, emails sent to COMPLAINTS.COM_FORM_MAIL_61915# will no longer be

reviewed by our Customer Support Team." 2. After our futile search on your Rebates Center page, do NOT simply give us the option to enter a tracking number instead of our personal info. IF YOU HAD SENT ME A TRACKING NUMBER, I would likely not be searching for the status of my rebate!!! 3. Provide some means of contacting you for Rebate Status Info other than an online search that simply tells us "Sorry, no search results."
