My adult son has hit some major hardships/lost job/health/etc. and is making an real effort to clean things up financially now that he has a good job again and is on his feet. He is working with a debt consolidation program who didn't include one credit card debt. I do not know the details, not my business.

The problem is this agency above keeps calling my home several times a day at times identifying themselves verbally, but their name and number does not show up on my caller ID.

When attempting to explain to them that by calling this number sss-sss-ssss, they are harrassing me, my minor daughter, and my husband. When I tell them to stop calling and why I believe it is illegal for them to be calling our home several times a day 24/7 between 8 am and 9 pm, they hang up on me.

I called them back one time { 11/04/04} to talk on to the suprervisor and was told our number would be taken out of the computer and they are still calling.

This is my son's mailing address, but he lives in a small apt. on our 3rd floor. He does have a phone line in there that is used for the internet and not much else. The only phone he has personally is the phone his employer provides for him and I simply will not give this agency that number so that my son's employer can pay for their many many in- coming calls. these people ask me questions- wanting to know who I am, and they talk to me about his debt.

Who I am is not their business and his debt is not mine.

well as a collector and someone who worked for this company by law they can call you twice a day if they need to speak to him and they know you know where to find him they will contuine to call you the best thing for you to do is tell him to return the call and have him say it is ok to speak to you and they will tell you more about the acct
