I am sending this to actually save someone else from having to bear the pain and abuse I have from Alltel. If you want to think you've gone to hell, subscribe to Alltel wireless. If you want to be lied to, mocked, laughed at, hung up on, made fun of, called a liar even though you have records, names, employee numbers, receipts, times, dates, and call records printed out for proof-join Alltel. If you want to lose hundreds of dollars taking days off work trying to fix their mistakes ecause they misapply payments and deny doing it even though you have printed proof, hook up with Alltel.

 

If you want to ruin your social life and miss important dates of your children's important activities because your lost and your cell phone is cut off even though you've paid ahead but Alltel has put your cell payment on your home bill payment---call Alltel immediately so they can ruin your life. If you want to think you need to start taking anti-depressants because Alltel has you at their mercy, screws you, cheats you, lies to you, every day of the month if you let them, Alltel's your company. They are sick. They are greedy.

 

I'm saying this because I've been strong enough to deal with them, spend a year losing alot to stand up to them, but the loss financially and emotionally to me personally is legion. But people who are young, elderly, etc. won't be able to kill themselves like I have to suffer under Alltel. So I want to say this to help other people.

 

They may even be fine for awhile. But just when you need this company to not cheat you, make mistakes on your bill, lie about it, let you talk to maybe 100 people who enjoy getting paid while they do absolutely nothing to fix the errors they've made with your phone and account----Alltel is there to abuse their customers.

 

While the owners of these people are in Europe enjoying themselves with your too high fees, you will not get what you paid for and they will rip you off every chance they get. When they illegally cut off my phone after management promised not to since THEY had misapplied my payment and I had 500% perfect payment records with them, I was in a dark alley (I'm a female) lost and misisng my son's special college event (it broke his heart) but Alltel illegally cut off my phone even though I paid them and they made an error and put it on someone's another account number. I could have been raped and killed---it would be Alltel's fault.

 

They find a way to get the most money from customers in plans and phones, then don't use that money to train their employees and fix their mistakes. The reason it is abusive is because once you sign that contract, they can do what they want----and believe me they do. To get out of a contract, you almost have to see your car to get a lawyer to fight it----and they know it. So they abuse you for everyhting your worth....just so they can keep the money you pay them and not spend it on giving you legal, fair, correct, good, and error free service.

 

So, if the above sounds enjoyable----meet Alltel Wirelss. The only thing good that can come from their abuse of me-is if someone reads this and doesn't have to be taken advantage of and robbed the way I was.

i fucking hate alltel! they suck monkey balls. have bad service. i just bought a phone from them an it completly locked on me an there is no code to unlock it so i have to go to a retail store an get it hooked up. what a piece of shit. everything has been nothing but trouble with this company.

ALLTEL LIES to you

i was looking at cell phones wen my wife went to alltel they told her take the phones if your spouse dont like them bring them back you wont be charged anything!!!!!!!!!!!!

they did take the phones back unused 3days latter canceled contract no problem.

next month i got a bill for 150.00 so i called they then changed the bill to {50.00} I am not quite sure how it went from you wont be charged to 150.00 then to 50.00

so i asked to speak to someone in charge.

the man on the phone told me the 50.00 activation charge was a F.C.C charge and thear was nothing he could do about it

so i went to allllllll the other cell providers in my area they told me the activation fee is not the fcc. but if you return the phones at allllllll the other cell providers in my area as i did with alltel allllll the other providers had no fee thats {0.00}

So i called alltel back spoke to a maniger told them what happend they told me (I WOULD PAY IT OR THEY WOULD KEEP CALLING ME AND TURN ME IN TO COLLECTIONS )

well they did not lie that time!!! they call at least 2 a week i still wont pay the 50.00

I've had Alltell for almost 7 years and have had none of the problems described above. Customer service is very good , the service area is good and the few billing issues I've had were resolved quickly and fairly
