Rebutal - Alex complaint about Leisuretime Warehouse
As Paul Harvey always says, now lets here the rest of the story.
Mr came in when my former employer, Leisuretime Warehouse, announced they were going out of business (which they did, and can be verified by bankruptcy filing.). He was given a price on a spa, and then called back days later asking if we would beat a price he found from a dealer out of state. We said no, this was our going out of business price. He laughed and said its not much of a sale. Several weeks later he continued to email me asking if we would do better on this model or that model. We couldnt - even though a company goes out of business, they still have bills they must pay and we wont give away the farm so to speak.
The dealer he found to do business with had been warned numerous times by the spa manufacturer not to sell out of his terroritory, as they had no intention of servicing the spas once they were delivered. Mr informed my employer that he "never pays retail" and "WE WILL SERVICE THE SPA, and HE WOULD MAKE IT DIFFICULT FOR US IF WE DIDNT." Again, he was informed this was his price, and if he didnt like it, he had the option of buying another spa locally from another manufacturer. Upon further checking, the spa in question was actually an 02 model, not an 04 model like we had for sale. So yes there was a difference in price, as older goods do sell for less so retailers can clear the floor on the older product to make room for new.
Now, several weeks down the road, Mr adds me to his supposed "opt-in" email list for the marketing company he works for. I emailed him back, saying thanks but no thanks we arent interested in doing business with him or his company, and to please remove me from the list. His response was " you figure out how to get off the list, and by not doing business with us you are missing out on a huge opportunity." His email did have a way to remove people from the list, but it also stated it was "opt-in" . I didnt agree to being on his list, and he added me without my permission.
I responded to him to remove my email address himself, since he added me. He would not, so I emailed the company he worked for, and included all the correspondance we had done via email. Not only did this co.'s customer service manager but also the company president emailed me back apologizing for his actions.
Later, this co. president called and talked to one of the managing general partners of Leisuretime Warehouse, and he was again told of the whole situation with Mr . He apologized again for Mr 's actions, and would talk to him about it. Mr Dellas did not claim he was mayor, he told Mr that he had run for mayor in his city and had lost by one vote (verifiable by election records for that year.).
This leads to the post on your website. My old co. did nothing wrong. This is nothing more than a consumer who didnt get his way and was venting out of frustration.
Before posts like this go live, your company should check all the facts.

Leisuretime Warehouse lack of honest business practices Business : MasterSpa and Pools
I wanted to write you about my horrible experience in trying to buy a hot tub from Leisure Time Warehouse Eastlake, Ohio. In addition to the used car salesman methodology and false advertising from sales rep Rick Todd, I got a call from Leisure Time's store manager/owner Ted Dallas claiming to be a former Mayor of Willoughby Hills, the city where I live, and that he knows where I live, but then he threatens me since he thinks I went online and got the tub at a 3k savings over his going out of business sale Rick Todd believes I bought a hot tub out of "my market", and to retaliate he emailed my new employer with attacks at my character which are libelous. After I called him out on there advertising of going out of business everything must be sold/ wholesale blowout when in reality it was just another hyped up sale he became angry and child like immature. What he doesnt know is the truth- I have not bought a tub yet and was about to buy one from Leisure Time Warehouse a Masterspa dealer until these recent interactions with Mr. Todd and owner Mr. Dallas. I will be adding to LeisureTime's long list of complaint filings with the BBB, I WOULD CHECK THEM OUT ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU .. THEY HAVE A LONG LIST OF COMPLAINTS!!!
