Immigration Lawyer - Last 2 years ago i've found an immigration lawyer from one of the immigration web site and i choosed this lawyer to represent me on my H1b transfer, green card processing etc. i;m already stuck to him eversince and i dont know how to look for another lawyer, thinking that he know all my history

Last 2 years ago i've found an immigration lawyer from one of the immigration web site and i choosed this lawyer to represent me on my H1b transfer, green card processing etc. i;m already stuck to him eversince and i dont know how to look for another lawyer, thinking that he know all my history,so it would be better for me and cheafer to leaved everything to him, because every case he represent me he is not giving me a copy or documents to which i think i'm entitled to have?

ie.INS approval notices, my wife's copy of her I-94 etc. do I have any rights to tell him that i'm his client and do what i want him to?, since i've paid him a lot already?are there any government agency where i can be help on my case?. Thank you and i look forward for a positive response.
