Liberty Wireless - I have been a customer of Liberty Wireless for almost seven months. When I subscribed, I bought two phones and a group plan. I have been a customer of Liberty Wireless for almost seven months. When I subscribed, I bought two phones and a group plan. I also submitted the rebate coupons for two phones at $50 each. Since then, I have inquired four times about the status of my rebate.
First, I was told it would be processed in 90 days. After ninety days I was told it would be processed after 180 days. Then I was told it would be processed within 7-10 days after 180 days. I just called again since it is now 210 days and have just been told that it will be processed within eight to ten weeks after 180 days! I THINK THESE GUYS MAY BE IN FINANCIAL TROUBLE AND TRYING TO RECOUP THEIR LOSSES BY RIPPING OFF PEOPLE ON THEIR REBATES. I have been warning everyone I talk to not to do business with Liberty Wireless. In addition to providing the same lousy reception and crappy customer services weve come to expect from cellular companies, these guys are ripping off the rebates too!
