(HL-P5063W) Dear Sir, We purchased a 50" Samsung TV (HL-P5063W) on 4th July 2004.
We read many reviews at that time and felt satisfied. The salesman convinced that the lamp would last for 8,000 hours. We are not heavy TV viewers so we guessed maintaining the cost of the bulb once in three years was fine. But today (Nove 4th 2004) the TV does not have picture at all and switches of by itself and three lights blink which means the lamp is gone. We called Samsung, and they told they wpuld be sending a technician by Monday (Nov 7th 2004). I was reading reviews again today and I see many complaints about the lamp. Samsung might come and fix it for now. But if this problem keeps reoccuring after the warranty period what are we to do? I am extremely disappointed for having procured this TV. I am not even sure what to be done after spending all my savings on this TV? Any type of help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
