I bought a ONIDA TV with DVD yesterday from ONIDA CLASSIC ARCADE, Opposite MGH Hospital, Jodhpur. The offer was priced at Rs. 13990 for ONIDA Black 200 TV and Onida DVD. I asked for some discount and the salesman told that he could make it 13500/- and also provide me four scratch cards instead of std 2 scratch card offers. He also offered to provide a woofer speaker system which they were giving for Rs. 200/- handling charges only with ONIDA system. However, after paying and collecting the items, when I reached home, the woofer system was not there.

Today when I contacted the shop owner Mr. Rakshit Rathi and Salesman Mr. Deepak, they refused to have committed to give any woofer system. Mr. Rakshit Rathi was too rude and told me he had no time to talk to me as he was busy with customers. He talked all kinds of rubbish and told me I was telling a lie. I never expected this kind of an experience with a TV dealer before. I also offered him to pay Rs 200/- if he did not remember that he had offered to provide it free with TV. However he said that now he could give it for 500 Rs as he had given me discount and this offer was only at MRP. Yesterday, he was very sweet and considerate and was begging for the buy and today he was speaking to me as he was speaking to any begger. I recommend to all the readers who are in Jodhpur not to buy any product from this crooked man. About myself , I am working as Export MAnager in a reputed firm in Jodhpur and travelling frequently to Europe, UK. I have purchased four colour TVs so far in last 4 years for myself/gift to relatives etc. and also involved in helping my lot of friends purchase electronic goods. But I swear, I will never go to this shop again. I request ONIDA TV company to look into this matter if they seriously consider customer satisfaction as a motto , otherwise it is OK. It was insulting and humiliating experience for me and espaecially for my father who just retired from an Indian Defence Service high rank designation and was too happy to buy the TV. Rajesh V
