Hi, My satellite dish was installed for free by an installer under contract with Bell. Unfortunately it blew off. Since the installer was on vacation the dish was off for a month. I reported this to Bell within a week of it blowing off. However, Bell would not suspend billing and wanted to continue to charge me. I didn't think this was fair and I asked to cancel. I then paid the next bill thinking it was the last one.

However, it was a regular bill. When I called Bell they said they had no record that I wanted to cancel.

I asked to cancel again. And again I got another regular bill. I called in again and got the same story. My second complaint is that Bell would not cancel my account. It's apparent to me that Bell Expressview has a policy of not cancelling accounts when requested. By stretching out the cancellation period, and threatening people with bad credit ratings, they bring in more money.

After telling this story to others I have found that about half of the people I talked to have had exactly the same problem, Bell would not let them cancel. On top of all that, I can't sell my receiver until the account is settled. Keith W
