There is something happening inthe mortgage business that is very common yet not everyone knows about it. Recently I applied for a mortgage with J.P. Mortgage alliance inc.177S.E.Mizner Blvd #36 Boca Raton, Florida 33433 ( 561)- 338-0925 I was told I was Locked in at a rate of 5.95%
When I went to closing there on the mortgage paperwork was a rate of 7.99% also all kinds of stipulations in the mortgage. I was not allowed to sell the house for 2 years and a lot of up front fees that were not mentioned to me.
It was the old bait and switch. After talking to a few people I hear that this is a common practice. They get you to a closing table and think the public will sign anything just to get it overwith.
Unfortunatly, a lot of people do. I did not. I set up for an extension with the sellers and went to a real bank to arrange financing @ 5% I rented the house from the sellers as we almost had no place to live. I bet lots of people fall victim to this scam and then regret signing. But then it's too late.
