I had a very bad experience with The Asia Voyage Ltd Partnership, and Happy Discount Ltd Partnership, which claimed to offer discounts to thousands of hotels in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom and in Asia: Thailand, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam. On 20 September, I booked the Novotel Congress in Budapest for 5 nights for stay from 24 to 29 October for 87 euros per night and payment was immediately deducted from credit card. Later, on 15 October, we decided to shorten our stay to 4 nights planning to leave on 28 October. We received a 4-night voucher on 16 October and we expected a refund to be forthcoming. The contract clearly states that if we shorten our stay, we will receive a refund. This is for the case of shortening the stay after checking in. In our case, we were actually issued with a hotel voucher with the shortened stay. In other words, the hotel had not and could not claim the additional day of stay. Upon returning from our stay, I made many attempts to contact Asia Voyage by email asking for a refund but received no even a reply. I have tried many of the email addresses: I have yet to receive a reply after more than a month since my return. They claim to be registered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand License No. 11/2780 and PATA Membership No. 551262.
