Sears dept store, knoxville, Tn - 2 years after I had my dishwasher the tips coverings were coming off, I requested prices for new racks to keep my dishes from getting rust spots, at a price of $68.00 for lower and $77.00 for upper rack I opted for the plastic tips that the lady was so kind to suggest as an option.

2 years after I had my dishwasher the tips coverings were coming off, I requested prices for new racks to keep my dishes from getting rust spots, at a price of $68.00 for lower and $77.00 for upper rack I opted for the plastic tips that the lady was so kind to suggest as an option.

this worked for the tips and for the past 6 months I have had to deal with the covering coming off the whole bottom leaving lovely rust marks on my dishes.

Deciding I would have to get the new rack now I got a welcome back and now the lower rack alone costs a whopping $133.00 for a whole 2 years later. Is this because they know now that everyone who has bought one of these washers would now be in dire need of a replacement!

To get a new upper and lower rack now would cost more money than just buying a new one. Guess we have been outsmarted again huh? Yes , it's a kenmore.
