TOSHIBA Satellite PSP25 TOSHIBA Satellite PSP25
I bought the TOSHIBA Satellite PSP25 laptop with 17th monitor on 14 September 2004 for $1,899.99 from Circuit City. The laptop has started falling apart and the CD-ROM section cannot be accessed after less than three months. I called TOSHIBA and was told it is a cosmetic part and so is not covered by the 1 year Warrantee.
The TOSHIBA Customer Service group exhibited a lack of understanding of the problem and a level of arrogance that has made owning this laptop a complete nightmare. To make matters worse, Circuit City also informed me that it is not covered by the Circuit City Advantage coverage which I was told at the time of buying the computer will cover everything that the TOSHIBA standard 1yr warrantee does not cover.
This is my first TOSHIBA and I now regret ever buying it. I should have stayed with the remarkably good, solid and reliable Dell's. I have also cancelled all the Circuit City Advantage warrantees I had for other electronics equipment because they are useless and a waste of money.
