We purchased a $3000 Sony 50 inch HDTV the first part of July and the lamp has already burned out. We only have the TV on at night for 2 to 3 hours.
Sony said they would mail us a lamp within a few days-is this a common problem? Our $3000 new TV sits with a black screen while our 16 year old Panasonic big screen continues to work with no problems-what's that all about?
