I have recently purchased and installed a HD Satellite receiver 6100 from Bell.
I was not able to record to my VCR from this receiver. After many hours talking to a Bell service technician I was told there is a software glitch in the receiver. I was also told everybody has the same problem with this particular receiver. I was also told that they are working on this problem and the new software version would be downloaded to my receiver automatically.
This was a week ago and nothing has been done to rectify it. When I phoned Bell again they were not able to give me any time frame whatsoever when this might be fixed.
I used to have a 3100 receiver and never had any problems with it.
Bell obviously does not think this is a problem serious enough to make quick changes to their system. www.Bell.ca
