Las Vegas.com on-line booking

I booked on-line thru Lasvegas.com a vacation for 4 persons. When our vacation date came and we arrived at Miami airport we were told that we had no reservation.

We had our confirmation number, intineary, and everything looked good according to the America West Rep. at the airport counter.

It seems that the person at Las Vegas. com ( James) did not process our credit card, leaving us without a vacation, or at least having wasted our time.

At the airport we spent two hours making phone calls to las Vegas. com on my cell phone which resulted in a phone bill of $69.00

We had no choice but to go home and get on line a book with expedia so we wouldn't lose the vacation completely.

We ended paying the same price for one less day of vacation, but at least we got to go somewhere.

I called Lasveags.com numerous times to see if they could at least give us a comp being that there rep. did the mistake of not procesing the credit card, to all this we got no results.

All they could say "we are sorry" there was no intent to make it up to us, no intent to give us at least a discount for future travel, just a blunt "you get nothing"

I will never again use LAS VEGAS.COM, or recommend them. Their mistake cost me a total of $300.00!

They are irresponsible and have no consideration of the ordeal people go thru when their vacations are cut short and screwed because of their mistakes.

Same here but what happened to us is once we arrived at the Treasure Island they charged us $20.00 per day extra as "resort fees", when we complained they said: "it is in the terms and conditions". I looked it over once I returned home and what it says is:"...some hotels may charge a resort fee...." but it did not specify which hotels. I wrote to Vegas.com but did not refund my $40.00 (2 days). The resort fee is to have access to the internet, use of the gym and a "free" drink at the casino....WHAT??!!

Just wanted to let everyone know of this mis-leading business practices.

The BBB did not do anything about it!!
