You think you have problems? Listen to this one - I HAD an account with A, T & T Wireless, now Cingular. My bill was for $84.14. I made a SLIGHT overpayment, to the tune of $8414.00. A slight shift of the zero's, unfortunately. I have been trying now for over two months to get a refund.
Each time I call, I get informed of some new "requirement" that I have to fulfill in order to get my refund. Every time, I'm told I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks. They apparently have this Process and Research Center that validates issues such as this.
And, I'm told that there is no way to contact this particular department. The only form of ommunication is via a fax number or a PO box address (for customer's) and internally, between departments, they can only message each other. How's that for inefficiency! The Cingular employee's at the Minneapolis A/R Center are real winner's, let me tell you.
They have NO IDEA what Customer Service and forget that the customer is the one that allows them to have a paycheck. They exhibit poor attitudes, inability to think outside of their cubicle, or just plain incompetence. If I ever treated my customers this way, I be filing Chapter 13. This company is so big and inefficient, I'm surprised they make a profit.
Anyway, I've vented. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. Gary Gary M.
