I had applied for a Tata Indicom DSL long ago (26/10/2004). An executive from Tata Indicom DSL, Mr. Rasheel came to my house on 26/10/2004 evening and collected the filled form and a cheque for Rs. 3755.
I opted for a 500 MB volume based package. I was told by Tata Indicom DSL office that I will be getting the connectivity in 15 working days. I waited until 16th day and sent an email to Mr. Vinod Menon regarding this. Then after 2 days, I was replied back by an email stating that the distance is too much to cover for VSNL.
I sent a request through email to Vinod Menon and other concerned person stating that to let me know if I have to pay extra to cover the distance and that I am prepared to do so. To date, I have not received any reply from any of the concerned persons from Tata Indicom DSL. I have pasted a copy of conversation with Tata Indicom DSL people through email. It is unclear to me as to why they refuse to give connectivity to my residence when they can provide connectivity to a Dishnet Hub near to my house, which is 150 meters from my house. What would be the reason for not receiving the reply from the people of Tata Indicom DSL? Is it negligence? or lack of service? or laziness? or not capable for their positions? or rather not interested in new connections??????? With all these, what service one can expect from Tata Indicom DSL?
