Troy is not telling the truth about the delivery.He was told the we'd deliver his furniture after 2pm. He called our store @2:05 complaining that his delivery wasn't there. The way our store or any store who offers delivery always gives a window.It is impossible to give an exact time when setting up a delivery. We stated this to him @ the time of the sale and every time he called the store. The manager did not treat him with any disrespect until he took a few slanderous words from Troy

Clark St Chicago, IL 60614 The owner of the business whom I had purchased furniture from told me to expect my delivery of furniture around 2:00 PM in the afternoon the day after my purchase and that prior to their arrival they would call me to let me know that they were on the way.

After about an hour had passed the original estimated time of delivery of 2:00 PM, I was wondering where in the heck they could be so I called to inquire about the status of the delivery. The gentleman I talked to was friendly and informed me that they really don’t guarantee a specific time of delivery, but in fact can only guarantee that your order will be delivered by 7:00 PM the next day. When I explained that I had been told that the owner said I should receive it shortly after 2:00 PM he was understanding and called the delivery truck to find out where they were. He mentioned that they were making a trip to their other store and should be back to my area between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. I was polite to the individual even though I felt as if I had been somewhat mislead on my delivery time and proceeded to wait. The time was now 5:30 PM and I had yet to hear from the delivery team on the status of my order. Becoming somewhat frustrated I called back to see if I could obtain an update on the status of my delivery. I explained to the individual the about the information I had received both initially about the 2:00 PM estimated delivery time as well as the 3:30 – 4:00 PMish updated estimated delivery time. Upon explain this, he became quite short with me and said, “you weren’t told that you would receive your order at 2:00 PM, we only guarantee that it will be delivered by 7:00 PM”. I said, “I don’t mean to be rude, but I’ve been waiting all day and was told misinformation two different times”. He then went on to explain that it wasn’t his fault his delivery guys were running behind and that it would be there by 7:00 PM.

Really frustrated by the way this individual was treating me after I had just spent over a $1000 at his store, I decided to become more demanding. And asked if he could find out what the status of my delivery was. He replied and said by 7:00 PM. Becoming more frustrated with the poor customer service I was receiving I told him that if I didn’t receive my order soon I was going to ask my credit card company to reverse the charges. After mentioning this, he became very rude and started yelling at me. I ended up having to hang up on him as it was futile to continue to try to reason with this individual or gain any customer satisfaction. In closing, I can say that I’ve never been so frustrated with the level of service I received by this store after having spent a significant amount of money. I would highly recommend considering other more well known establishments with better delivery records and more consideration for providing higher levels of customer service. Troy E
