I signed up with a cellular phone company called Liberty Wireless back in July of 2004.... I was promised a rebate on my phone within 6-8 weeks, have yet to recieve that rebate. When I recieved my phone it worked fine, but the wall charger did not work at all.... they send me 8 different chargers and still I do not have one that works.
They have sent me 2 that don't fit my phone and the others just don't charge it. To top off my frustration, I was told as long as my payments are made by the 1st of the month my service would not be interrupted....they lied, I paid my bill on the first of november and the phone was disconnected on the 2nd!
The money was taken out of my account on the 3rd of november and my phone is still not on, today is the 10th...they keep telling me the payment has not cleared and I gave them the tracing number and reference number from the bank and they still will not turn my phone on...they are telling me it could be 2-10 days before it is back on.
I am very angry and will never reccommend anyone going with Liberty Wireless...they are crooks! I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and found that they have an unsatisfactory record with the BBB. I see why!
