Symantec Norton rebate

In September of 2003, I purchased Symantec's Norton SystemWorks for Mac Upgrade (version 3) and mailed in a Norton $50 rebate. I have still not received the rebate as of May 2004, and Symantec is being very

uncooperative even after telling me in January the rebate was on the way.

Last September, I sent in their rebate with all the required materials, including the original SystemWorks v2 manual title page. In December they mailed me a postcard saying I needed to send additional materials from version 2 of SystemWorks. In December. I mailed them the original SystemWorks CD as requested.

After several emails, they said my rebate was 'in process' as of Jan 31. I never received any rebate. In reply to my numerous emails of Feb/Apr/May 2004, they say either 1) I need to resubmit everything or

2) they have no record of my rebate request.

I bought my Symantec programs from the online store at Symantec, so the Symantec rebate company can confirm proof of ownership of all versions (since they now have my original proofs). Timeline Summary:

9/20/2003 original rebate submitted (plus all required materials) 12/4/2003 CD mailed to Symantec (at their request) 1/31/2004 they said my rebate was in process April/May/June they have no record of my rebate request I have been their loyal customer for years, but their Customer Service will not assist with my requests for help. ------
