Turbo Tax State Refund promotion The Turbo Tax rebate information restriction is NOT displayed anywhere on ANY material on the outside of the box BEFORE you buy the product stating that there is a DEADLINE that it must be postmarked in order to get the rebate. Only in a small font, after going through many pages of what looks like junk promotional material do you even find a page that has the rebate information. This is even worse when you BUY the product from them - you then have to submit proof of purchase that you bought it FROM THEM to get the rebate. Like people are going to buy the state refund program without buy the Federal? It only works if you HAVE the Federal version. This is very much like a bait and switch tactic where all the information needed is NOT provided up front before a person commits.
