My fiance and I have been planning a wedding and decided that we might want to use a caterer so that we could have a more personal and unique location. We found The Ultimate Caterer on a New Jersey wedding website and contacted them for additional information. The owner contacted me after my fiance left him a message stating that we wanted to schedule a time to meet. The owner, Alan, was completely inappropriate and rude.
After he found out that we did not want, what he called, his "priciest wedding package" he decided that he would not be able to cater our wedding. He would only discuss his "priciest" wedding package and would not give me any detailed information about their lower priced packages (which he said were available and that I believe we could have been able to afford).
He told me that they do not serve the "ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGED". When I began to complain about how he was treating me and asking why he would not work with me and give me the information that I needed, he stated that I should probably just find someone else and HUNG UP on me. I was furious and had no one to complain to, because he is the owner.
So if you want to work with people who are friendly, helpful, and find ways to decrease your stress during the already stressful time of planning a wedding (or any large affair), DO NOT USE The Ultimate Caterer!

His company Ultimate Caterer is expensive and you do not get value for money. His company has lost a significant contract with Bonnet Island Estate. This is possibly because the company does not live up to the quality and standards set by such a fine establishment. Mr Perl is unprofessional and the company, quite simply below average. Save your money and go elsewhere, in particular, MerriMakers.
