I believe that I, and others like me who have gotten older and more nostalgic are being fooled into joining by Reunion.com. The website makes you think that if you just sign up, you'll be in touch with your old classmates, or whoever. But that's not true. I saw one man whose name I recognized. He was actually a friend; but I could not email him without paying $36 for a year's membership. I'm sure they're not lying in Los Angeles, CA headquarters--they CANNOT refund and portion of that high fee that I paid for exactly nothing. The guy hasn't responded to me. But I "used" the service, therefore I paid the $36.00. I'm on a fixed income, so what seems like pocket change to some is not to me. Now, maybe I should have known better, but I still want other people to know that if they are drawn in by misleading membership statements as I was, they may well pay money for nothing. And even better would be to have my money back. I do not think there's any such thing as "can't" when it comes to these so-called services. Carla Herwitz

The same thing happened to me. I went on as a free member and the next day 3 people searched out my profile. So I had to pay 36.00 only to find out that these were people from half way accross the country that I have never heard of and never visited my site at all!!! But I don't see any way to get the $36.00 back......it's a scam!!!
