This is a copy of the email I sent to the local news in Augusta Ga. and McDonald's complaint dept. To whom it may concern, Yesterday evening I picked up supper from McDonald's exit 22 Aiken. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. Halfway through she noticed it was raw. I looked at it and it was as raw as if it had just come out of the super market. (No kidding)! I told her to try to throw it up. I took the remainder back to McDonald's. I asked the manager what she would do about it.
She said she would refund my money. I said That's it! My wife may have to have her stomach pumped! She took my name and number and I left. She didn't even say she would find out why or how it happened. I haven't heard from her or anyone representing McDonald's since. When I got back my wife took some Ipecac syrup and threw it all up about a half hour later.
The hospital said don't do anything until she gets sick. Today she filed a complaint with DHEC and he said he would talk to them. He also told her to freeze the sandwich which we still have. I would appreciate any help bringing this to light and maybe getting a response from McDonald's. Thank you, Mike H Aiken, SC Mike E H
