251-338-0103 Delivery of a swingset was scheduled between 11am-1pm. Delivery did not occur. I called WillyGoat about 1pm, Zak had me call the freight company. Freight company at 1:15pm did not know whereabouts of driver, and could not forecast arrival. I called WillyGoat again, told Jackie that noone would be available to receive shipment after 1:30pm.

She stated that not receiving shipment would constitute a refusal, that I would be credited for the item, but that I would be charged freight for both shipment and return. At 1:30pm, freight company still did not know driver's whereabouts. After 1:30 pm, noone was available to receive shipment -- it was large -- although someone was indeed home. I spoke to someone around 5pm, who claimed to be WillyGoat's owner. He refused to issue a full credit, even though the freight company did not deliver as scheduled. In fact, the shipment never arrived at all.

I immediately put a dispute on the credit card transaction. About 7pm, someone called who claimed to be the freight company's driver. He was calling to reschedule for Monday, and made no apologies for not even attempting to deliver at all on Friday. At this point, rescheduling was not an option for me. WillyGoat policy states "all requests for shipping charge reimbursement due to missed appointments by freight companies ... must be directed to the individual freight company." However, the freight company stated that they can not issue a credit, because the transaction occured through WillyGoat.

Therefore, neither WillyGoat nor the freight company accepts responsibility for missing the appointment nor for causing me this inconvenience. Consequently, WillyGoat's policy is blatantly unethical. Further, WillyGoat expects to charge me about $300 for freight, unless I agree to inconvenience myself again, receive shipment whenever the freight company feels like it, and pay the full $1006. I call this extortion. Further, I believe WillyGoat is committing fraud. I was home. They did not deliver. They are responsible; not me.
