Ameriquest - Ameriquest never contacted previous mortage company for the FULL PAYOFF

I refinanced my home with Ameriquest in august 2003.

Ameriquest never contacted previous mortage company for the FULL PAYOFF, In Nov, 2003 I received a letter from the previous holder and was told that there was a balance on the mortage. A balance of over $4600.00.

The Previous mortage company used my escrow to pay this and still left a balance. In March of 2004 I received a letter from the Tax office that my property taxes were not paid. I Contacted the Title Company and they stated that they never recieved a payoff certifiate.

Now I am left holding the taxes, and Ameriquest wont return my calls and when some one does talk to me they pass the buck to another dept. Everytime I call the Mobile Al office there is a NEW MANAGER!!!!

REFINANCING WITH AMERIQUEST WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE,,,,, BEWARE
