AOL - Privacy Guard - I canceled this service and have a cancellation number. To date, they continue taking money out of my checking account for this

AOL Withdrawals for Service from Checking Account

In August 2003, I signed up for Privacy Guard with AOL. In October 2003, I canceled this service and have a cancellation number. To date, they continue taking money out of my checking account for this.

In March 2004, I tried to cancel this service again, and I received another cancellation number but AOL continues to withdraw the monthly fee of $9.00 from my account. Short of putting a "stop" on AOL withdrawals at the bank for $29.00, I am at a loss at what to do.

I want a refund for the months AOL withdrew from my account (October 2003 to Present time - May 2004, at $9.00 a month to a tune of $72.00. Please advise me what else can be done. I have heard of other people in this similar situation from the bank, so I don't want to close my account, antagonising AOL into not refunding my money back to me and continuing to try to withdraw from my account and charging me a service fee for not being able to every month.
