Free Installation was advertised, yet I was told by the installers that I was to pay cash in the amount of $49.00 which would be paid back in the form of a rebate by Direct TV. I was given a rebate form by Fairview Mechanical which I mailed on Feb.20,04.
I called Direct TV as to the status of my rebate and was told they had not received the form. I was also informed that I should call Prime TV which is a different company than Direct TV. This is absurd. It is the same company.
I was given a different telephone number to call and I was on hold for half an hour, after which I hung up in disgust.
What is my recourse?
