Tinetics, MD - unable to receive collect calls without notifying company

The company is called Tinetics and they have newly contracted to serve many of the prisons in the state of Maryland at a cost of about half what the previous provider was charging, But untill the individual willing to receive a call from an inmate contacts the company and contracts with them to pay the collect calls they have a block on my phone which prevents the inmate from making contact of any kind.

I have the number which I believe is in Dallas but am unable to reach anyone live after hours of listening to a recording. It is frustrating and certainly not supportive of family relationships. I'd think they would like to increase their customer base but it seems instead they're locking us out.

Email User connects to an undesired site. Telephone #: 888-610-7079. Recorded message answers. Have spent more than two hours at a time listening to recording without ever making a human contact. Message states such as "a representative will be right back" when no one has answered in the first place.
