JC Penny, Valley View Mall, Roanoke, VA - experienced uncomfortable situation

JC PENNEY Valley View Mall Roanoke Va. racially profiles customers.

While shopping in this store I heard a security call to athletics ,my sister was in the ladies department in that area asked a clerk what that was about she was told someone was shoplifting.

She paid for her purchase then joined me in the children's department,where she showed me her purchase then security to children's dept was announced we looked and the only people there were us they had a floor walker walk by and say "hello ladies"

Well I e-mailed my complaint to JC Penney was contacted by the store manager who tried to turn the event around like the first security callwas what we heard well no!!!!! it was'nt and my question racial profiling was completely ignored until my second e-mail when I reminded her she never anwered my question.

Of course,then areply stating we don't profile any of our customers.Well I disagree, If you are Black you are watched ,followed,harrassed by clerks asking you if you need help ,never theother shoppers.

I hate to say this, but you are soo wrong..I have heard security calls to an area I was alone in. I have had employees walk by me greeting me asking if I need help, one even followed me into the bathroom...she never used the bathroom, instead she washed her hands then proceeded to pretend to fix her makeup..btw she wasn't wearing any, then she ran her fingers through her already combed hair..all coz I was carrying a shopping bag from another store..duh I'm not going to carry my single bag all the way through the mall then outside to my car...doi! oh btw did I mention I am white!!
