My husband and I ordered 2 relcliners and a sofa from the Lazy Boy Showcase store in Toledo, Ohio Feb.1 (Monroe Street). We were told the items woould be made and delivered within 6-8 weeks from the dat of our purchase..

On Feb. 28 I called to check the status of our furniture, and I ws told it "had already been made" and would ship in the next one to two weeks.

After 7 weeks of waiting, I again called and asked for the manager to check on our furniture shipment. He got back on the phone and proceeded to tell me that the fabric we had ordered was "on back order".

I told the manager that the salesperson had said that the furniture was already manufactured, and ready to ship at the end of February, He accused his own salespeson of having lied to me (she was not there that day-as she as having a day off).. Needless to say, we cancelled our order.

Actually after having just discovered this board, I am glad it was cancelled as apparently Lazy Boy no longer is a good company to deal with for honoring promises or concerns that their customers have.
