Yankee Candle Co . - bounced check to Yankee - Yankee Candle Co. assessed account $ 25 fee, which bank paid without knowlege of account holder

Yankee Candle CO. I wrote a check to them and my bank sent it back ,even though I quickly put the money in. As a result, Yankee Candle Co. assessed my account a twenty five dollar fee (which my bank paid out without my knowlege)- even after they had resubmitted the check and had been paid.

I am now the proud owner of a $55.00 candle that smells like &*(@#%$#! I will keep it forever just to remind myself of how banks and giant merchandizers abuse the public and assess huge fees for petty annoyances- like having to wait 10 days for a check to clear.

It has already cost the bank, Cresent Credit Union of Brockton Mass, my business for a second mortgage, and I will NEVER, EVER step foot into a Yankee Candle again.

Good for you, Yankee Candle, you got an extra twenty five for my $17.00 candle.
