CNET Shopping - cnet.com - trying to buy a Fuji Finepix s5000 via Cnet shopping for over a month

I've been trying to buy a fuji finepix s5000 via cnet shopping for over a month. My experience is that the information posted there by merchants is purposefully misleading and after identical treatments by several merchants, am convinced that it is a way they get use of the potential customer's money for at least a week without ever having to deliver any product. First, Inoax took my order and said it was shipping that day. I waited 10 days and called them and they said it was on backorder and they'd emailed me so - I got no email. Next I tried Harmony Computer and they did the same thing.

Told me it was shipping the same day, days later, I had to call them and was told it was on backorder and they claimed they'd emailed me. CNET is the problem. I filled out all the forms to complain about Inoax and nothing happened. They are still claiming on Cnet that they have the camera in stock! Why doesn't CNET check up on these unethical scammers? We cannot rely on CNET information as accurate because the merchants know they can enter inaccurate information and hold our money after we make an order. David K
