AMERIQUEST MORTGAGE
i contacted Ameriquest...because of their advertising on the television as well as internet. Because of our Credit problems and felt because of thier advertising they could help us.
EX Ameriquest Ads found at http://ameriquest.lnformation.com/
\"Ameriquest understands when even the most responsible of adults need a little help. If other lenders have turned you down for one reason or another, Ameriquest will work hard to get you the money you need. \"
Shannon W was my Loan officer he said we had the Loan and gave us several different dates that we would possibly close. Sent out 2 different appraiser, said loan was approved. Yet we kept getting different amounts we were to get, or different interest rates, once it was going to be financed for 20 years another time it was for 30 years. We first started this transactions around Feb 17, and it came to a head March 1. Also in there ad it states that \"You can be pre-qualified within 24 hours and receive an Ameriquest loan in as little as 10 days! \" We were told we had the loan....yet as you can see it went way behond ten days and became a major nightmare.
We were asked at one point to contact our current Mortgage Company and get a pay off...which we did the pay off was good until Feb. 27th we asked if we should go aheand and send our Feb payment and Mr W said no as it would change the payoff amount. So we followed his advice...he said we would close before the 27th.
March I spoke with Shannon W and was informed he was being let go from the company. On March 2, I talked with Paul R the Branch manager,he was to call me back he didn\'t I had to call him...he said it looked like everything looked fine and was giving it to another Loan officer and we could possibly close tomorrow which would have been March 3....
Then later on March 3 we spoke to a Matthew? and were treated very rudely and told \"I don\'t know what I am supposed to do with this loan\", He spoke of our lousy Credit, it was not his fault we had lousy credit. and many more very hurtful things, up until this point we were treated with dignity and kindly. We were informed we would not be getting the Loan. And all of this caused much anxiety and huge amount of stress. When my wife who talked with him as well asked for thee address of the Corporate Headquarters he would not reveal \"that information\".
ANOTHER QUOTE FROM THEIR SITES...The phrase \"Do the Right Thing\" is our fundamental philosophy and guiding principle. It\'s a meaningful phrase at Ameriquest because it sums up our most important corporate values. We try to incorporate it into everything we do and it\'s especially important when it comes to qualifying a loan. When we do the right thing, we help our customers and the people in our communities. At Ameriquest, we never forget that our customers deserve respect, fairness, and honesty.
This person forgot about the respect, fairness and honesty part.....
Then Mr R finally got on the phone, infomed me that he would send us 350.00 to help make up for the mortgage payment his agent had told us not to send...However that payment is 738.89 . We have yet to see any money from them and just another example of not being able to trust them.
On March 8, we recive a policy for insurance on our home that with a new loan number on it with Ameriquest as the lender. So I again called Mr R he said disregard it....It seems that all there mistakes and misjudements still come to haunt us. Mr Ruso said on that conversation that he would try and get us the full payment. Of course of which we have not seen either.
There was another person who we spoke to who was also very rude who would not reveal his name. We could not get any information regarding Corporate Headquarters infomation or address so we could contact them and make them aware of how we were treated. It is indeed unfortunate that they had to let our first loan offecer Shannon W go because of the way he handled things, but he WAS there agent, and we were to believe what he said or so we though. We would at least like for them to give us the money that Mr R said he would give and do this one thing they professed they would do, as all the other things they told us never came to pass.
They played with our emotions at our expense. And the Stress on a mutliple stroke victim that I happen to be was not a very good thing especially the way I was treated by the so called new Loan officer who would not reveal his name when asked after being so nasty. Mr R at least did speak kindly and appeared more professional other than saying it looked good and we \"should be closing in a day or so: We were falsely led in so many areas.
Desired Settlement:
Other Settlement: Was Told by Mr R that they would send us 350.00 and on 3/8/04 Mr Raxo said he would try to get the full house payment which would be 738.89 and this does not include the late fee that has since incurred. We have not seen this money yet! Sherry
