Hertz rentacar
Took a defective car straight back and got charged for the day.
please see further below previous e-mail transactions with Hertz
1 Hertz have in their small print so cleverly worded, that if they give you a broken car and you are not expert enough at the time of collection to realize this, they can still charge you for a whole days rental of that broken car if you return it.
2 Hertz appear to be cheap when booked over the internet but once you get to your destination you realize that the rental cost is almost 3 times what you expected as they add HUGE amounts of insurance, in my case ten days were more expensive for 10 days than a whole year at home for a much larger and vastly more expensive vehicle.
3 There local invoice resemble in no way or form what you booked on the web.
4 Their web complaints procedure is atrocious, it takes ages to get a response and not always available.
5 The e-mail response you appear to get is tough on you and if you try and reply you find the e-mail address does not exist.
Dreadful dreadful service where ever you are within their organisation.
