We purchased our RCA Projection tv model # p46924 4 yrs ago. When we had it for 2 yrs and it was still under warrenty it died. We were told that we had to replace the high voltage transformer. Now 2yrs later is had happened again. My repairman says that he can't get the part because they are on back order everywhere.

I have tried to call and find this part but am having no luck. I call Thomsons Consumer electronics and was told that Yes they were manufacturing the part but that they had NO IDEA when they would have one in. Please call back every 2 weeks or so to see if they came in. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that they don't take phone calls. I am without any more options.
