I received a coupon code from Brookstone by e-mail after a recent purchase. The coupon was good for $15 off any order over $150. The purchases I wanted to make totaled $149.94.

Brookstone's order line, and their customer service representative, would not honor the coupon, preferring the loss of a customer rather than letting the six cents slide.

This is all rather silly since they spend money sending me catalogs every couple of weeks in an effort to attract my business. Their ridigity is short-sighted.
