RE: Household Credit Card Services / Household bank / Household Credit Services - credit card not reporting correctly to credit bureau. I am still fighting with Household Bank. One month the account reports correctly. The next it becomes an fourteen month old charge off. There actions are malicious. These people are the worst I won't have anything to do with House hold bank, GM MasterCard, Best Buy credit card, or any other credit product offered by Household Bank ever again. It's just not worth it. There are lots of other banks out there that play fair. I have cut down about a half a tree writing letters to these people. I filed for chapter seven bankruptcy many years ago. This account was included in the bankruptcy. The account was current up until the time that I filed for bankruptcy. This account was never charged off. This account was listed with a status of "discharged through bankruptcy chapter 7/never late" with the date listed correctly as recently as the first quarter of 2004. It currently has a status of "Account charge off/never late" with a date of status of about January 2003 with one of the major Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA). This means Household Bank has committed two violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. One for incorrectly reporting the status of the account and one for reporting the "date of status" incorrectly. PROSPECT HEIGHTS IL 60070-2701 I have already sent several letter to Household bank disputing the incorrect reporting of this account and disputed the account with the CRA. Household has not fixed the reporting of the account. The CRA refuses to investigate the issue as it has been investigated twice already and the computers at Household Bank have just keep on reporting the same incorrect information. I would consider resolution of this mater to be the following: Have Household Bank ask the CRA to delete the account or have the account listed with the correct status and date of status.
