idler pulley for a 1998 ford explorer
TO THE FORD COMPANY, I WAS DRIVING TO WORK WITH MY CHILD ON BOARD WHEN I ROUNDED A CURVE AND I LOST MY STEERING AND I WAS HEADED IN TO ONCOMMING TRAFFIC.
MY IDLER PULLEY PEELED OPEN LIKE AN ORANGE AND BROKE MY FAN BELT CAUSING NORMAL FUNCTIONS TO SHUT DOWN. I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS PULLEY OR WAS IT DEFECTIVE FROM THE FACTORY. THIS WAS A ORIGINAL FORD FACTORY MADE PULLEY
I HAVE ENCLOSED A PHOTO ON THIS PULLEY.
PLEASE CONTACT ME AT JANE LEW WV 26378,
MRS. KAY B

The fact that you are stupid enough to endanger your children in a vehicle with failing parts says it all.
