McDonalds - disgustingly dirty
McDonalds, Sandpoint, Idaho.
I've been going to this Sandpoint location McDonalds for years. However I had never entered the play area until just a few months ago since I didnt have children before and now I do. They have the big play area with slides and balls and what not. As soon as we entered the seperate room which contained the play/eating area, I was overwhelmed by the stench of urine.
As a mother I obviously come in contact with all sorts of bodily fluids and I understand that this is natural, however, there should be some sort of Sanitation in a public resteraunt. You can understand my 2 year olds huge screaming/dissapointment when we left without playing in the play area. The next time I went in without my little boy and I decided to check out the play area again, thinking they had surely cleaned it up.
THEY DIDNT! I even stuck my head into one of the slides and was overwhelmed by the stench of old urine and the sight of old crusty food! I honestly dont think I have ever been more disgusted with a restaurant and definatly will not take my little guy there again.
There are so many laws and regulations in such places as day care centers as to how often toys are cleaned and sanitized, arent there any for fast food restaurants such as these? I have checked out this facility repeatedly over the last few months-still NO clean up. YUCK!

I had a hard time choking down my fries (which at the time I thought I had wanted, but then changed my mind). Honestly I had never seen a Mc D's in this condition. I was also glad that at the time my baby was still small enough to stay in his portable car seat carrier and was not able to become contaminated with any of the floor McGrease. Thank God I did not check out the play area. I have not been back since and I think it will be a shame when next winter we will definitely not utilize the indoor play area, let alone ever pollute my palate with anymore Sandpoint Mc D's.
