I have a JVC Digital Camcorder, Model # DVM5 which was bought in the US. I am staying in India. I have lost the battery and charger for the camera. I am unable to use the camera due to this.

I tried in the US for the battery charger but the power supply is 110V 60HZ but in India we have 230V 50HZ. I want to know whether I can get the battery charger from Singapore which can be used in India. I have my friend in Singapore who can buy the charger and send it to me. If yes, please let me know in which place can I get to buy the charger.
