2001 Chevy Blazer
On June 11, 2003, I purchased a 2001 Chevy Blazer with 32,000 miles. I haven't had any problems with my Blazer until recently. On May 28, 2004, I had to purchase a Transmission for my truck. Here is the catch, I had only 45,000 miles on the truck when a little pin called a Sunshell broke in the transmission.
This little pin would cost me $1,000 and no warranty. I was given a 50/50 chance of my truck going in gear after this pin was replaced. Low and behold I got a transmission from Jasper with a 75,000 mile warrenty. I called GM to see if they would help me with the cost. $500 would have even helped! They would not do anything to help me.
They said only if they had other people with the same truck to have problems they could recall it. I had to sell one of my other vehicles to fix mine. I just don't understand how a transmission could die after 45,000 miles. Lisa T Lisa T
