I was in a bad car accident on 4/13/04.

My insurance told me that I was covered to get a rental car from Enterprise which I did on 4/14/04. I received a call from Enterprise on 5/24/04 that my insurance would not cover the car after 5/14/04 because my policy was for 30 days. I returned the car immediately and was very upset because I could not afford the rental car on my own and they told me about it 10 days after the fact.

Now my credit card was charged $417 from Enterprise which I do not feel I should have to pay. If someone had notified me, I would have returned the car on 5/14. Enterprise says Safety should have contacted me when the policy was about to end coverage- that is the standard process.

Safety will not do anything for me. My claims contact is Evan at Safety Insurance. Please call me as soon as possible to advise me on how to get this charge paid for. Thank you,

Tara H

I had a recent issue with Safety Insurance. I had a rental while my car was being repaired. I was hit by someone insured by Safety Insurance. A month after the accident I received a charge on my credit card from Hertz. When I enquired I was told that Safety Insurance would only pay a portion. This didn't make sense because I only had the rental for the time it took for my car to be repaired. Well six months later I am still trying to get Safety Insurance to pay the balance they owe. They have been absolutely horrible to deal with. I would never choose to do business with this company.
