I had a loan for a 02 4Runner which I traded in on 05/15/2004. I paid the upside down amount plus a premium for each day there was not an approved buy amount through date. Additionally, I paid the loan amount due on 5/19/2004 to insure that there would not be any discrepancies or late fees incurred. My loan amount note was $422.36/mo.

On 06/10/2004 I called to inquire about my refund amount ($476.36)as well as when I could expect to receive the refund. I was told 6/16 surely no later than 06/18 (Scotty). On 6/21/2004, I called again, as I had not received my refund. I was then told that it takes 20 business days to process and send. Further, that the transaction was completed on 05/25/2004 (Ilet).

At the elapse of 20 business days from 5/25/2004, I still had not received my refund. I called yet a third time to be told that the process time is 20 to 30 days (mgr. Patti). Patti said that she would call me with information in regar! ds to this issue. She has not, I am not sure if she even has a contact number as she did not ask for one. This is unsatisfactory to say the least, I had to call three times. I was told something different on three calls. Additionally, how possibly could it take part of May, all of June, and part of July to process a refund for an amount that should have never been applied to a loan balance. I would like to have Roadloans.com/Triad Financial send me copy of company policy with respect to such refunds. Specifically, wherein the documentation stipulates 30 days to process refunds upon trade in.
