Online Billpay Service, Yahoo! Bill Pay, through Checkfree, is a very bad choice for your online payments. I highly recommend you pay whatever extra charge you may have through your own bank.

Yahoo! Bill Pay - Bad Choice!

While Yahoo! Bill Pay will make apologies and amends for small errors ($20-30), when the mess up on a big payment $500-1000, they will disavow any responsibility even tho there are proof/documents to support the consumer's claim. The "claim" they will refund overdraft or NSF fees that are charged as a result of the "error" when in reality they deny any responsibility and begin charging their own fees instead.

I highly recommend a full SEC investigation and Consumer Protection investigation into their system which does not provide accurate information to the consumer and does not protect them in the event of a Yahoo! error.
