Verizon Wireless... Cell Phone Service
I purchased an additional phone under the family plan for my handicapped daughter living several states away. I have been told by every Radio Shack and Verizon Wireless dealer that Verizon provides full service where she lives. It doesn't. After talking to many agents and salespeople, I finally called the Verizon wireless customer service who also told me there were towers providing service.
Then I was connected to a service technician who stated that Verizon is not guaranteed in buildings... it is a mobile service.... it is not their problem. Unfortunately, my daughter is not mobile. Also, unfortunately, Verizon has no way to provide a solution other than my paying the $175 termination fee. I have had numerous problems with their billings, their inability to timely adjust their billing mistakes, and their sidestep/contradictions of everything their advertising states.
I could not list all the Radio Shack and Verizon Wireless offices along with every customer service rep I have talked to the last six weeks. Verizon has been a complete disappointment.
